I am a professor of philosophy at the University at Albany-SUNY and a fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford. My primary interests are in the philosophy of language, the philosophy of logic, and metaphysics with an interest in epistemology, where I have worked on a version of contextualism without pragmatic encroachment. Much of my work has regarded truth and paradox. For a complete list of my papers and books, see my CV. For some of my papers, go to my "papers" page.
